Tamil Nadu - The case of the missing money

The current state of Tamil Nadu is full of crisis. It has not been a good year from the month of January. The voice of the people is heard only by severe protests. The so-called state government is hibernating while the people have awoken from their slumber. They have the right to be answered for all the things that are happening and it goes back to the only question where is all the money? It's too late to play the demonetization card now!

                   

                              

The bus drivers are at strike and it has severely affected the transportation in the entire state. They are being blamed for procrastinating their duty and not serving the public. MTC buses are seen less on road for the past few days and the government is putting up bizarre rules. This has been taken as an advantage by all other private transportation including ola and uber services

All the workers want, is their pension and PF which have been stolen from them. They have been deprived of their basic rights. It is not fair to celebrate their contribution and hard work for a single day in a year and leave them helpless like this. How many of you have complained about MTC buses?. They have a hole in every part. They are noisy. They vibrate a lot. MTC drivers treat their buses like their own vehicle. They try their best to keep them good, repairs and replacements are beyond their control. They drive the bus in the same route all day long in constant vibration and work so hard all day to get this! The government instead of clearing the situation has made it even worse.The situation was something like this↓

 They even invited people with a driving license and given them a bus route. It is such a brainless act which has resulted in so many accidents.

 Private companies are lending their buses for the government which they should not. The bus drivers are protesting for a rightful cause and we should support them, instead of the government. This situation has arisen because the government doesn't have sufficient funds,which again goes back to the question - where is the money? Do we even have a state treasury?

Do you all remember a few days back when the entire city Chennai was in a black out. Unfortunately, no one was stuck in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre, nobody thought gum was perfection and nobody was happily singing, nobody was attacked by a cat and nobody found Paolo.

 and then the current is shut down for the entire night. As always, we first check the neighbor's house to confirm if the power has really gone before coming to conclusions. Well, it was a rough night and we suffered through it. And the next morning we wake up to find that TANGEDCO is in debt. The question here again: where is the money?

All these problems here and our ministers are busy with thermocols and 11th board exams (which is not entirely good - more detailed information in the next blog!). All these brainless acts even the roads are cracking up. Such quality works you know!

Several parts of the state facing water scarcity, several unbuilt flyovers ( again no fund?) and what not. There is no use slamming Hindi and having pride in being a தமிழன், we should show our pride through unity and development. I think it is high time we stop all the political drama and get back on our heels and move towards development.
