The Struggle is Real - CONCLUSION

Hey, there guys, this article is the continuation of one of my previous blog post -  Read the first part here!  So this article is where I dramatically end it and it is also one of my favorite topics to write about. So read on below while I hope this one makes you smile! 😇 1.EATING:- If a girl doesn't eat a lot in public, it is not because she is dieting or weight conscious. A girl when alone with her food is a beast! She doesn't eat a lot in public or when around people because she is brought up in such way. The words "Naalu  peru   paatha   enna   solluvanga " (what will people think) is registered deep down in her soul sounding like her parents. Dieting is for patients and  paithyams  (stupids) who call themselves "fitness freaks" The poem is called "chubby cheeks" and not "chiseled cheekbones" so please keep your fitness theories to yourself.✌ Women fasting to magically increase the lifespan of their husbands doesn't make...

9 commandments of navarathri

Hi Guys! I know it's been a while but here I am with another post! Navarathri just ended and it is one of the most pressurizing festivals for a girl. It is because of several reasons and they are mentioned below. In south India, navarathri is celebrated as Golu or Bommai golu where people arrange dolls in various steps! This is celebrated by many communities and is "LADIES EXCLUSIVE". Golu for Maami's is as important as sports day for a kid. It is like an IPL for all the ladies. Golu is something huge and it puts the ladies under a lot of trauma. So here are 9 commandments to help the host and visitors have a smooth interaction:- 1. THOU SHALL NOT FORCE A "KANNI PONNU" TO SING OR DANCE AGAINST HER WILL Every girl can relate to this! Whenever you visit someone's home for golu, the maami always asks the girl to either sing a song or dance. Mind you, the songs should be Carnatic and the dance should be classical. These are apparently to see if you ...

Indianizing the characters from Game of Thrones

Valar Morghulis everyone, GoT season finale is out and it is something that just cannot be ignored. In case you live in the oblivion and know nothing about this show, it is a tale where 7 families fight over an uncomfortable chair made of swords. It has drama, death, politics, and war against people, dead men, dragons etc. Game of Thrones puns and memes are everywhere and so here I am Indianizing a few characters from this amazing show:- 1.Bran Stark There is a reason why Bran has come first in my list among the other dominant characters. As you all know Bran is a moody teenager who can see things from the past, present and the future and calls himself the three eyed raven (Maybe one eye to see the past, one for present and one for the future). If Bran was an Indian, he would be the top influential person in our country because of his "super power". Indians can be easily be drawn into superstitions and Bran will be worshipped nation wide. His name will probably be ...

Lunch time talks

School life is always the best right? The most favourite time during everyday of school life is the lunch time. Those 45-50 mins of heaven was the reason for so many fights, talks, patch ups etc. Lunch break is the time where we can create a true fish market scenario ( as the teacher's say) with no one to question us. So here are some of my random thoughts as to why lunch period is epic! After some research and thinking I have made a list of some the famous foods that make frequent appearances in most tiffin boxes. They are:- 1. Lemon rice which is often accompanied by a potato fry 2.Curd rice paired with the 1 rupee pickle packet 3.Maggi which becomes a solid cake taking the shape of the container 4.Poori with the evergreen potato 5. Idly and sambar No matter what the food is there is always more than one hand in a tiffin box and with lids being passing around like plates, it becomes like a temple where people put their hands together for the aarti plate ...

Tambrahm Talkies

Hi, guys! In this post, I'm going to talk about tambrahms (Tamil + brahmins) because it is the occasion of Avani avittam and Gayathri Japam. To all the people who don't know about this alien topic, this is a special day for all the Brahmin boys and their only festival because all the other festivities are handled by 🎶all the single ladies and the married ladies🎶😛. So today's post is going to be about the characteristic features of the Tambaram species. This post is not meant to be racist or anything but just to clarify and make things less awkward for everyone and also because we are funny apparently😛 1. Looks Growing up (which still I am😁) I have been asked a question which I am pretty much sure every tambrahm has been asked. Whenever I meet new people and we kinda start to develop a friendship the immediate question they go for is, "Are you a Brahmin? for which I'll reply "yes" and immediately the other person says "I knew it! I ca...

Social stalkers

Hi, Guys! This one is a reader's request. So I hope I don't mess this up. This post will be about stalking stuff and also the title is such because it rhymed with white walkers (#winterishere💀). I know stalking is something that should not be promoted. This is just a fun article that is intended only to chill things out and hopefully put a smile on your face. Stalking is something that is done by all regardless of their gender. This is normal as long as no one becomes creepy or feels violated. Every normal human being has stalked someone and has been stalked by someone. If you disagree and claim to be the most righteous person on the planet, get ready to become educated!😛 Stalking is basically following someone without their knowledge and consent. Stalking is done because of two major reasons 1. You like the person or 2. You hate the person. As much as I know one can prevent this by filing a restraining order against the stalker (follower) of course I learned th...
